Harris Co. looking to have public health staff respond to mental health-related 911 calls

Harris County leaders announce a new series of violence prevention programs. Wednesdays focused on mental health. The initiative is called The Holistic Assistance Response Team (HART) It would use public health staff instead of police for non-violent calls where mental health issues may be part of the problem.
