Shots fired during home invasion
HOUSTON - Police say shots were fired as a family returned home finding two masked suspects inside their home.
This happened around 10:30 p.m. Friday when Houston police received a call regarding a shooting in the 5900 block of Woodway in southwest Houston.
Police say one of the suspects discharged a firearm as the family returned home wounding a woman who lived at the home.
She was hit in the foot and is expected to survive her injury.
The suspects, described as only two masked men, fled the scene.
