Woman allegedly leads wrong-way chase through three counties

Authorities say a woman was arrested after leading officers on a chase through three counties while driving the wrong way.

According to investigators, the woman was driving southbound on the northbound feeder of U.S. 59 at Townsend Road when she caused an SUV to roll over. 

Officials say the woman fled the scene by entering the Townsend Road exit ramp onto U.S. 59 going the wrong way. Several agencies pursued the vehicle from north Harris County, through Montgomery County and into Liberty County.

The woman was arrested and was given a field sobriety test.
