Footage from Youtube CCTV shows the moment a machete-wielding robber met his match when a female shop assistant pulled out a Samurai sword.
Video shows a woman clerk working as a man in a gold motorcycle helmet walks past her into the shop. He returns with a bottle of water before which he places on the counter, as he puffs on a cigarette. But the seemingly routine situation suddenly changes when he pulls out a huge blade and threatens the woman - apparently demanding money. She then completely unexpectedly pulls out a long sword, shocking the robber who tries to take a swing at her with his blade. The robber flees the scene with the woman in pursuit.
She is seen returning into the property using her mobile phone.
