HOUSTON, Texas (FOX 26) - Houston police investigate a scene where an officer shot and killed a man after a short pursuit.
"We are just grateful and happy that no one else got hurt because there were a lot of citizens standing around when this took place, a lot of other people could have been hurt, especially when this man went for a weapon, there were numerous citizens that were in very close proximity and so we are happy that the officer is okay and that the citizens are also good at this time", says assistant chief W.R. Dobbins with the Houston Police Department.
