HOUSTON (FOX 26) — Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County police has confirmed that a man identified as a suspect in two random attacks has been arrested.

Investigators say Torrence Donell Brown, 35, had approached a couple waiting on the Preston Station rail platform at 311 Main Street on Dec. 31, 2018. Brown punched and kicked the male several times and then hit the female victim.

The second attack was reported on Jan. 10 on the 12200 block of the Eastex Freeway when police say Brown assaulted a male who was boarding a METRO bus. Police say Brown was sitting near the front of the bus. Brown ran away from the bus and paramedics were called to assist the male who was attacked.

Investigators linked Brown to the second case by matching the unique tattoos. Three felony warrants were pending against him.
