Shooting in northeast Houston June 20, 2018
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police say a man was shot and killed outside a northeast Houston lounge. He was speaking to family members when the shooting was reported.
Officers arrived shortly after 10 p.m. Friday in response to a shooting reported on Wayside Drive near Ethel Street. They found the man on the ground outside the lounge. EMS pronounced the man dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
Police say a suspect approached the man and shot him multiple times.
One person was detained by police and was questioned by detectives.
Investigators are trying to determine a motive for the shooting.
