HOUSTON - The I-610 North Loop was shut down in both directions on Tuesday night in north Houston due to an overturned truck and lost load.
What we know:
The incident occurred on the North Loop at the I-69 Eastex Freeway just before 7 p.m.
Police say a truck overturned on the elevated exit ramp, spilling gravel onto the freeway below.
What we don't know:
It’s unclear how long the roadway will be blocked.
It’s also unclear why the truck overturned.
