Suspected road rage shooting kills 1 in Houston
One person has died and another is in custody after a suspected road rage incident in southwest Houston Thursday morning. FOX 26's Mekenna Earnhart shares details from authorities.
HOUSTON - One person has died and another is detained after a suspected road rage shooting in southwest Houston Thursday morning.

What we know:
Police say they responded to a shooting call at about 9:40 a.m. Thursday on West Fuqua Street near South Sam Houston Parkway.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
According to police, witnesses say the shooting may have stemmed from a road rage incident. One truck had reportedly cut off another truck, causing the second truck to spin out.
One suspect was detained and taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation. The suspect was also said to have been injured, but is expected to recover.
The investigation is still ongoing.
What we don't know:
No one involved has been identified. Police described the deceased victim as a Black man between 40–50 years old.
There are no other details between the crash and the shooting.
It's not clear if the suspect and victim knew each other before the incident.
