HOUSTON - Details are limited as authorities investigate the death of an 18-year-old who was found in a vehicle in northeast Houston on Saturday afternoon.
Northeast Houston: 18-year-old found dead
What we know:
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says the scene was on Montclair Bend and Tyneglen Lanes, near Beltway 8 and Tidwell Road.
Precinct 3 constable deputies responded to a disturbance call at the scene and reportedly found a man unconscious inside a vehicle. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A detective at the scene said the 911 call came in around 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The caller was reportedly driving past the victim and saw him unconscious in the vehicle.
The victim is believed to be an 18-year-old male. He was found in the driver's seat of the vehicle with "obvious signs of severe trauma."
What we don't know:
The victim's identity is unknown at this time.
Officials couldn't confirm what caused the victim's "severe trauma."
There are no details on what happened before the victim's death, if anything happened at the scene where he died, or if anyone else was involved.
