HOUSTON - The Eastex Freeway was closed off early Sunday morning after a deadly crash at an exit ramp.

The crash was reported just before 4 a.m. Sunday on I-59 North at the exit ramps to I-10.

Police tell FOX 26 that a driver struck the barrier at that exit.

One person has been pronounced deceased.

Lanes were closed off until about 8 a.m.
