A study says grilling, smoking or broiling meat can increase your blood pressure. Researchers followed thousands of people for as many as sixteen years and determined that open-flame or high-temperature cooking caused a spike in the risk of blood pressure health complications. The same was the case with meat cooked to "well done." If you're worried about your blood pressure, it is recommended that you keep the grilling to just a couple nights each week and try avoid eating the charred pieces of meat.
Eye cancer is affecting women in Alabama and North Carolina. Ocular melanoma is pretty rare overall and usually occurs more often in men and mostly in middle-aged patients. But in Huntersville, N.C. and Auburn, Ala., there are strangely-high rates of diagnosis among young women and doctors have not determined why. In the case of Auburn, a lot of the 33 reported diagnoses have had some tie to Auburn University back in the 1980s and early 1990s.

From bullying to body image issues to feeling like everyone else is living a better life than you because they're all posting such happy, awesome photos, studies have shown time on social networking sites can cause psychological distress. Instagram is working on developing a "wellbeing team." An Instagram staff member said on Twitter that the team will promote positive behavior on the social media platform.
