A record number of Americans took advantage of early voting, casting more than 46.27 million ballots. The Associated Press estimates that the early vote number could top 50 million.

Clinton on Monday held a massive rally on Philadelphia's Independence Mall, addressing some 33,000 people. She told the crowd, "The real question for us is what kind of country we want to be." Trump ended a marathon day of campaigning with a final rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, telling supporters to get out and vote.
DIXVILLE, N.H. (AP) — The votes already have been counted in three New Hampshire precincts and Donald Trump has won by a 32-25 margin over Hillary Clinton. Polls in the tiny New Hampshire towns of Dixville, Hart's Location and Millsfield opened just after midnight and closed as soon as everyone had voted.
BAGHDAD (AP) — Investigators in Iraq are headed to a mass grave to conduct examinations and to determine how the victims died. The site is about 19 miles from Mosul, in Islamic State-held territory. The first officials to go to the site say it likely holds about 100 bodies. A U.N. spokeswoman says there've been reports that 50 former Iraqi police officers were killed outside Mosul, but a soldier at the site pulled a child's stuffed animal from the scraps of clothing and remains.
NEW YORK (AP) — Police in New York City describe a woman accused of pushing another woman onto subway train tracks as emotionally disturbed, but they're looking at video surveillance to determine what led to the deadly attack yesterday afternoon. Authorities say the women may have been arguing before the 46-year-old woman was pushed in front of a southbound No. 1 train beneath Times Square. She died at the scene. Thirty-year-old Melanie Liverpool is in custody.
