Sen. Ted Cruz fined $35K from FEC for not disclosing loans properly

Sen. Ted Cruz has been slapped with a $35,000 fine from the Federal Elections Commission.

According to the FEC, he inadequately disclosed some of his loans, apparently using credit from one bank to borrow against another to get about $1 million for his 2012 presidential campaign.
