HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Heather Patterson started her career as an author when she began writing about former presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush. She had writer’s block when writing one of her manuscripts and decided to take a break and write something light and humorous. She stopped what she was doing, opened a separate Word document, which would culminate in "Passing the Bone."
Patterson will take part in a "Passing the Bone" book signing event that includes her reading a story and patriotic activities at the River Oaks Shopping Center Barnes & Noble on 2030 West Gray Street on Saturday, Oct. 22 starting at 11 a.m.
