Authorities are determined to catch a group of fireworks thieves. On Friday, we told you about a fireworks trailer in Cypress that was stolen. It appears as though those thieves also stole another fireworks trailer and a generator last week.

A 12-year-old boy is recovering tonight after he was shot in his own neighborhood Sunday night. The child was walking near his home on Pine Knoll, when he said a car pulled up alongside him and someone shot him.

Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick is donating up to 10 metal detectors to the Santa Fe Independent School District. He's working with Garrett Metal Detectors, who he said will donate another 10 detectors.

Houston police need the public's help finding a woman who hasn't been seen in a week. Homicide detectives are now involved in the desperate search for 37-year-old Brittany Burfield.

Cardinal Daniel Dinardo of the Archdiocese of Galveston Houston is at the South Texas border with other bishops. They're meeting with immigrant families and government officials.

Thieves broke into 55 vehicles parked at two apartment complexes in the Heights in just one night.
