FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

Strong to severe storms are expected this evening across north and central Texas with a Marginal to Slight risk for severe storms possible from Dallas to Austin. These storms will try to push SE tonight but should weaken. There could still be an isolated strong storm tonight with the best chance of staying NW of Houston. Friday will be warm & humid with a few showers possible. A cold front rolls through this weekend bringing widespread rain and storms Saturday night into Sunday morning. Rain totals should be an inch or less for Houston but higher totals are possible north. This is where there could be some isolated street flooding. Expect briefly cooler weather on Sunday and Monday before the 80s return on Tuesday and Wednesday.
