Suspects arrested after shots fired at HPD officers

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Three suspects were arrested and police searched for a possible fourth suspect after at least one suspect fired shots at officers during a pursuit, the Houston Police Department says. No officers were hit.

It happened around 4 p.m. Sunday near Scott St. Faulkner. According to police, an officer saw a vehicle run a stop sign and the car didn't stop when police tried to pull it over. During the chase, someone in the car fired shots at police, HPD says. Police say the suspects eventually crashed into a fence, ran into a house, and three came out when police asked.

Police say their may be a fourth suspect.

Police say none of the officers where hit and officers did not return fire.
