Christmas classics come under attack

The old holiday classics like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Charlie Brown, and the song “Baby It's Cold Outside” are the subjects of public outrage.

Some are describing the old CBS show Rudolph as bigoted and homophobic with claims it features bullying and sexism. Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving Special is now seen as racist because the black character, Franklin, is seen sitting on the opposite side of the Thanksgiving table while the white characters all sit together on the other side. The old classic Christmas song “Baby It's Cold Outside” is not considered kind of “rapey”.  That has prompted an Ohio station to ban the song from the holiday rotation.
