SANTA FE, Texas (FOX 26) - Here's a timeline of how the deadly attack on Santa Fe High School unfolded:
Multiple law enforcement agencies respond to Santa Fe High School after receiving reports of an active shooter inside.
Santa Fe High School is located in Santa Fe, Texas about 30 miles south of Houston.
Law enforcement arrives at the scene to engage shooter.
Suspected gunman exits Art Lab 2 classroom of Santa Fe High School and surrenders.
Dimitrios Pagourtzis, 17, was a student at the high school. He was found with a shotgun and a .38-caliber revolver, which his father owned. The teenager posted photos of a trench coat and a shirt that reads "born to kill" on social media.
Police also found a journal where he wrote out the plans for his attack and suicide.
Santa Fe ISD confirms that there was an active shooter on campus. The school is put on lockdown.
Other surrounding school districts, including Dickinson and Texas City are also put on lockdown as a precaution.
Around 8:45 a.m.
Multiple medical units including helicopters arrive at Santa Fe High School.
Santa Fe ISD says the situation is active, but contained.
Several law enforcement agencies are investigating the shooting, including ATF.
Students have been evacuated from the high school. Many of them are transported to the Alamo Gym at 13306 Highway 6.
Parents are reuniting with their children.
Suspected explosive devices are discovered.

Ultimately, his explosives were not functional, after authorities investigated them.
There were CO2 canisters wrapped with duct tape. Also, a pressure cooker with an alarm clock and some nails. None of which could be detonated.
Vigils are held to honor the victims.
Ten people were killed by the gunman who opened fire inside the campus on Friday morning. The victims included two teachers and eight students. Seventeen other people were injured.
