Cashier Lets Little Boy Ring In the Groceries

A three-year-old boy in Ohio going through a difficult time recently had his day made when a clerk allowed him to help her ring in the family's groceries.

The boy's mother, Kimberly Grandinette, posted about the experience to the Facebook page of the Meijer supermarket chain over the weekend. And she needed the help, as her infant son was in the hospital and her three-year-old was having a hard time as a result.

After telling the cashier, identified as "Kristen C," about the family's situation, the boy asked Kristen if he could help- so she picked him up and gave him a lesson on what to do.

“She was so patient with him as she let him help her scan the coupons and she made him feel like a million bucks,” wrote Grandinette. “He skipped out of the store with a smile on his face.”
