Manvel High school student struck and killed on Highway 6
IOWA COLONY, TX - Manvel High School student, De’Monte Benn was struck and killed by a vehicle on Highway 6, near Iowa Colony.
The tragic accident happened right before 8 a.m. Monday, on Highway 6 at Louisiana in Brazoria County.
Manvel High School’s principal, Bobby Martinez issued this message about the tragic accident that took the life of 18-year-old De'Monte.
Martinez added that counselors from Alvin ISD’s Crisis Response Team are at Manvel High School to offer support to students and staff that are struggling with this tragic loss.
