Investigation into shooting threat at Crosby High School

School resource officers and administrators are investigating a shooting threat written on a bathroom wall at Crosby High School.

District officials say the threat alleges a shooting would take place on May 30, and the threat did not name a specific student or group of students.

In a statement, the district said that in the aftermath of school shootings, hoax threats are often made, but the Crosby ISD is not taking lightly any threat made against student safety.

Crosby ISD says a thorough investigation is in progress and appropriate consequences will be taken once there is more information.

They encourage anyone who has information regarding this or any other threat to the district.
