FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

This evening is a FOX 26 Storm Alert Day. There is the chance for very heavy rain which could lead to additional flooding along the rivers and creeks that are still swollen from the flooding over the last few weeks. The northeastern portion of the viewing area is under a 4/4 'High' risk for flooding. The Flood Watch for areas near & north of I-10 including Houston from continues until 7 am Friday. An additional 2-4" of rain is possible for these areas with isolated amounts up to 6". Most of the viewing are is under a Tornado Watch until 10 pm. Any storms that develop have the chance of bringing large hail, strong winds and even an isolated tornado.
