New law protects those living in unincorporated Harris Co. boarding homes

Harris Co. Sheriff Ed Gonzalez announced new protections for people living in boarding homes in unincorporated communities. Additionally, a new law creates criminal penalties for people who fail to report abuse or neglect against the elderly or disabled boarding home residents.
