Thursday evening weather forecast with Meteorologist John Dawson

The heat and humidity have taken over the forecast as we roll into this weekend in Southeast Texas. We can't rule out an isolated downpour but most of the attention in Houston will focus on the heat index values running 105-108. In the tropics, Grace will stay in the far southern Gulf of Mexico but there could be some beach impacts here along our coast. Be careful with strong rip currents Friday and Saturday.
