Alabama governor signs bill into law targeting sex offenders

Alabama's governor Kay Ivey has signed into law a bill targeting sex offenders.

The bill would require certain offenders to be chemically castrated before they are released for parole. The measure applies to those convicted of crimes involving children younger than 13 and is set to take effect later this year.
