HPD dive team recovering body found in Buffalo Bayou

HOUSTON - A body has been reported in Buffalo Bayou near downtown Houston. 

The grim discovery was first reported at 10:40 a.m.

Houston Police Department's Dive Team and homicide investigators are en route to the scene located at 198 Travis near Commerce, where they will begin recovery of the body.

It is unknown how the body was found or the circumstances of the death.
