Roasted duck pumpkin puff from Yauatcha

Hakkasan Group, known in the U.S. for its popular nightlife properties in Las Vegas, launched the Yauatcha concept in The Galleria in Houston on March 29, 2017. It has already emerged as one of the most highly-anticipated restaurant openings in the Houston area for 2017. The London location of Yauatcha was awarded a highly-coveted Michelin star.

Part of The Galleria complex, the Yauatcha menu includes many types of Chinese dim sum and tea. Chef Ho Chee Boon demonstrates to FOX 26 News food segment contributor Cleverley Stone how he decorates the roasted duck pumpkin puff. Restaurant spokesman Yannick Augy describes several of the best selling dishes at Yauatcha, including the Chinese chive flower dumpling, XO scallop dumpling, crispy prawn dumpling with plum sauce and har gau jasmine tea smoked pork ribs.
