Molotes de Xoxocotlan at Xochi

Xochi, which opened inside the downtown-based Marriott Marquis Houston just in time for Super Bowl LI, is owned by chef Hugo Ortega and his wife Tracy Vaught. They operate the H-Town Restaurant Group, which also includes Backstreet Cafe, Hugo's and Caracol.

Chef Ortega is a five-time finalist for the James Beard Award and is a semi-finalist in 2017. Tracy Vaught is a 2017 semi-finalist in the Outstanding Restaurateur category, while Hugo's is a 2017 semi-finalist in the Outstanding Service category. The awards will be presented on May 1 in Chicago.

Xochi represents the cuisine of Oaxaca, Mexico.
