What's Your Point? - Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh

With Democrats preparing for a confirmation showdown, President Donald Trump has selected 53-year-old conservative jurist Brett Kavanaugh as his second appointment to the Supreme Court of the United States. If confirmed, Kavanaugh will replace longtime "swing vote" Anthony Kennedy and almost certainly push the high court to the ideological right.

A graduate of Yale University Law School and a 12-year veteran of the federal bench, Kavanaugh has argued Presidents should not be distracted by criminal investigations or even questions from special prosecutors.

Ahead of the confirmation process, Judge Kavanaugh has repeated his fundamental philosophy that “judges must interpret the law, not make the law."

The What's Your Point? panel includes Republican strategist Jessica Colon, attorney Nyanza Moore, Breitbart Texas associate editor Bob Price, Texas State Senator Paul Bettencourt, columnist and former Kemah Mayor Bill King & Chicano activist & educator Tony Diaz.
