In the hot seat - Joe Gamaldi Houston Police Officers Union - What's Your Point

- In November Houstonians will decide whether the city's firefighters should have pay parity with the Houston police officers. Firefighters say they had only one 3% increase since 2011, but Mayor Sylvester Turner opposes the pay raise, claiming it will cost $98 million a year, money the city doesn't have in its coffers. Fire Chief Sam Pena says funding parity would force him to lay off more than 800 members of the department. Also openly and forcefully opposing pay parity is the Houston Police Officers Union

Joe Gamaldi, President of the Houston Police Officers Union joins What's Your Point host Greg Groogan to explain their stand on this issue.
