Ronald Reagan's daughter says father would be ‘heartbroken' by Trump's presidency
Patti Davis, the daughter of former President Ronald Reagan, sharply criticized President Trump in an interview on Tuesday, accusing the president of using fear to divide the country and “assaulting the constitution.”
Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan, which her father coined during his presidency, has taken on a completely different meaning, Davis said in an interview on the Yahoo News show “Through Her Eyes.”

FOX Faceoff - Houston not selected as Democratic National Convention site
MILWAUKEE (AP) - Milwaukee will host the 2020 Democratic National Convention, party leaders announced Monday, highlighting the battleground state of Wisconsin that helped elect President Donald Trump and now will launch an opponent who could oust him.
Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez chose Milwaukee over Houston and Miami after deliberations lingered longer than party leaders or officials from the three finalist cities had expected.
"Where you hold our convention is a very strong statement of your values and who and what we are fighting for," Perez said Monday surrounded by state and local officials.Read the full article

CENTER LINE, Mich. (AP) - Democratic presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke boasted Monday that the more than $6 million he raised online within a day of announcing his White House bid, the most reported by any 2020 candidate, was helping to create "the largest grassroots campaign this country has ever seen."
The "record-breaking" $6.1 million collected last week came "without a dime" from political action committees, corporations or special interests, O'Rourke spokesman Chris Evans tweeted. The figure is just above what Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders reported for his first day as a 2020 candidate.
O'Rourke, a former Texas congressman, jumped into the presidential race on Thursday after months of speculation, shaking up the already packed Democratic field and pledging to win over voters from across the political spectrum.Read the full article
