GALVESTON, Texas (FOX 26) - A driver and passenger have been taken to hospitals after the vehicle they were in had overturned on Interstate 45 in Galveston County.
The vehicle was traveling northbound on the Gulf Freeway northbound frontage road when it went into the mainlanes, crossed three lanes and struck a divider. The vehicle rolled over and landed upside down. The passenger was thrown onto the highway.
The passenger was taken by Life Flight medical helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital - Texas Medical Center while the driver was taken by ambulance to a hospital.
