Firefighters remove male from crashed Corvette

- Firefighters removed a male from a Chevrolet Corvette after a driver lost control of the car and it crashed into a tree in southwest Houston.

Officers and firefighters arrived at around 1 a.m. Saturday to the intersection of South Gessner Road and Beverly Hill Street where the Corvette skidded into a median before the passenger side of the car crashed into the tree.

Two males were taken to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in fair condition.

The Houston Police Department is trying to determine what factors caused the high-speed crash.
