UH football moves into AP Top 25

The University of Houston football team has moved into the AP Top 25 for the first time since 2011.

The new poll came out Sunday with the Cougars in 24th.  Previously, UH had received enough votes to sit just outside the Top 25. Last week, they were essentially 28th in the country.

In Tom Herman's first season as head coach for UH, he has led the Cougars to a perfect 5-0 record so far, with the signature win so far being a road victory at Louisville. Houston's coming off a 49-28 win over SMU this past Thursday.
