Texans lose Tom Savage for the season
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - The Texans placed quarterback Tom Savage on injured reserve because of his badly sprained right shoulder which means he is out for the season.
Savage suffered the injury during the fourth quarter of the final preseason game in Arlington against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday.
Before it was known that Savage was lost for the season, Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said on Friday he would consider adding another quarterback, possibly to the practice squad.
