Texans defensive end J.J. Watt suffers broken hand

Just days away from facing the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt wore a cast on his left hand during the team's practice session. Watt says he broke his left hand during practice on Wednesday but adds that he will play Sunday and will not have to adjust because of it.

"People are going to try to make a big deal out of this but I've played with worse," says Watt. He also says he will continue his tradition of playing catch with fans before Sunday's game, even with the broken hand, though he may drop a few of the passes.

Although Watt did not practice with the team on Thursday, he ran on the side. Head coach Bill O'Brien says Watt will play on Sunday and says the cast on Watt's left hand will not be an issue.
