Santa Fe school shooting victims honored before NBA playoff game

The victims of the Santa Fe High School shooting were honored with a moment of silence before Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.

Before the national anthem, attendees at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., were asked to rise and join the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors in paying their respects to the students and educators who lost their lives in the shooting. Players stood on the court with their heads bowed for a moment of silence.

Ten people were killed and 13 other injured in a shooting on Friday at the high school in Santa Fe, Texas, located approximately 30 miles south of Houston. Eight of the victims who were killed in the shooting were students and two were teachers.
