Rockets' Lawson suspended three games for DUI
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - The NBA announced Thursday that Ty Lawson has been suspended three games for a DUI incident from July.
The Rockets point guard had been suspended two games earlier this season for a DUI incident in January.
Lawson's suspension begins with tonight's game against the Jazz. He will also miss games against the Pacers and Grizzlies.
These DUI incidents occurred before Lawson became a Rocket. Houston acquired him in a trade in the offseason. So far, in his first year as a Rocket, Lawson is averaging 6.4 points and 4.3 assists.
