HOUSTON - At 44-13, the Houston Rockets own the NBA's best record. They've survived a slew of injuries to get to this point. They can clinch the top seed in the Western Conference in the final 25 games.
The Rockets have won ten straight games and 17 of 19 overall. James Harden is playing like the MVP of the league. Chris Paul is every bit as good as advertised.
But perhaps the biggest reason for the team's surge is the defense.
As long as the defense continues to play the way it has, the Rockets can beat anyone. A championship is a legitimate possibility. It's time for fans to buy in.
