Greater Houston Honda Dealers Player of the Week - Keyonte Fiakpui

Before the 2017 season, the Mayde Creek High School Rams team had record of one win with 19 losses during the previous two seasons. The team has already begun the season with a 2-0 record with quarterback Keyonte Fiakpui leading the way and earning Greater Houston Honda Dealers Player of the Week honors.

Fiakpui has already thrown 23 completions in 40 attempts for 608 yards and six touchdowns.

"We've just been grindin' this whole summer in the offseason, you know, putting in extra work," said Fiakpui.

"I'm really pleased and what we look forward to is seeing how we can improve each week," said Rams head coach Mike Rabe. "That's been our goal since day one."
