Greater Houston Honda Dealers Player of the Week - Demond Turner

Three touchdowns and 198 rushing yards from running back Demond Turner helped lead the General Benjamin O. Davis High School Falcons over the Aldine Senior High School Mighty Mustangs in an Aldine Independent School District football battle.

"I attribute my success to my o-line and my coaches and everybody that believed in me," says Turner, who has gained more than 700 rushing yards for the season with a few games still on the schedule.

"We're very excited for him," says Davis Falcons head coach James Showers.
