HOUSTON (FOX 26) - JJ Watt and Whitney Mercilus are both out for the remainder of Sunday night's game against the Chiefs with injuries.
Mercilus is out with a chest injury and Watt suffered a tibial plateau fracture to his left leg. Watt was helped off the field during the first quarter of the game. He was taken to a local hospital.
Texans star defensive end J.J. Watt suffered a tibial plateau fracture in his left leg on Sunday on the Kansas City Chiefs' first drive of the game. He tweeted Monday morning, "I can't sugarcoat it, I am devastated. All I want to do is be out there on that field for my teammates and this city. I'm sorry."
