The Houston Astros are heading off to California in Houston Rockets-style, sporting jerseys for the basketball team a day before they face the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals.

After the Sunday game against the Texas Rangers, Houston Astros players could be seen heading to the team bus decked out in red and black Houston Rockets gear.

Houston Astros manager AJ Hinch said the Astros players would be wearing Rockets gear on their flight to Anaheim after the game on Sunday to show their support.

“There’s been a big buzz around our club about the Rockets,” Hinch said. “I know a couple of their guys have been out to our games and a couple of our guys have snuck over to some games when we can. So we're in full support mode of the Rockets. We wish them well."

Justin Verlander shared a photo of the team in Rockets attire before they boarded the plane.
