Houston Astros fans thrilled the team wins ALDS Game 1

In a see a of blue and orange, Houston Astros fans were pumped to see their favorite team take on the Cleveland Indians during Game 1 of the American League Division Series. Outside Minute Maid Park, they enjoyed food, music, fun and games. Inside the ballpark, fans could talk smack and get ready for the first game of the postseason.

"Very excited, very excited," says Mike Valdez.

"I’m just very excited," says Marty, Mike's brother. "This is my first game here that I made in several years."

"I came with my best friend, Brian, and we are definitely going to win with Verlander and we are going to win this series in three games, that’s my call," says Kevin Scardino.

"This is my second time coming to the playoffs we are going to make it all the way," says Alex Tiefenbrunn. "We got to hopefully, for Mattress Mack giving away all this furniture that would be nice too.”

With Verlander on the mound to start the game, fans were feeling pretty confident.

"He’s got to, I mean, Kate is going to be in the stands so he’s got to impress her," adds Tiefenbrunn.

People packed in to Minute Maid Park to watch the reigning World Series Champions, many of them hopeful that the team will win that title once again.

"We are here to defend the title, so it’s going to be awesome," says Nick Kopoulos.
