HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Former Houston Oiler star defensive lineman William Fuller was among the 14 players selected Friday for the College Football Hall of Fame.
Fuller was an Oiler from 1986 to 1993 before finishing his career with the Eagles and Chargers.
Fuller totaled 56 sacks from 1988 through 1993, including 15 in 1991 and 10 in 1993.
Fuller was a two-time All-America defensive tackle when he played collegiately at North Carolina from 1980 to 1983. He still holds the school record with 57 career tackles for loss. Fuller's sixth in school history with 20 sacks.
This newly-announced group, which includes Randall Cunningham, Derrick Brooks, Rod Woodson, and Troy Davis, will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in December.
