Fans celebrate Texans heading to playoffs after win

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A big win for the Houston Texans, 30-6, against the Jacksonville Jaguars. They are headed to the playoffs.

Excitement came early at NRG Stadium. Happy tailgaters were everywhere. Just as the game kicked off we asked fans what it took for the Texans to make the playoffs.

"We gotta keep it together, take it all the way, defense and get that quarterback together and we'll get that 'W' we're working for," Mercedes Santillanes said.

"It's a lot of fun right now you got the Cougars doing their thing, you got the Texans and JJ Watt doing his thing and that's been a fun thing to see," Ray Architua said.

And the reaction after the big win was took the excitement up several notches. Texans fans are ready for the playoffs.

"I'm actually freaking out ever since the Oilers and these guys came back and they're doing the right thing for us. I'm feeling awesome," Chris Daniels said.

"Just get one more, take it one game at a time ...We'll get there Texans," Johnnie Williams said.
