Cy Lakes' Fox gets McDonald's All-American send-off

De'Aaron Fox just finished his high school basketball career at Cy Lakes. Before he starts playing college ball at Kentucky, the next step is the McDonald's All-American Game featuring the nation's very best basketball players.

The game will be held in Chicago on March 30. On Tuesday, Fox received a nice send-off from local Owner/Operator Joseph Wymer at the McDonald's located close to Cy Lakes High School. His teammates and coaches all joined him in the celebration. And when Fox received his McDonald's of Greater Houston plaque, he made sure to thank those teammates and coaches for what he's been able to accomplish so far.

Many more accomplishments are expected from Fox in the future. DraftExpress.com currently projects Fox as the fourth overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. Next season, he'll be headed to Kentucky, which has become a haven for the nation's elite basketball prospects.

In the video link above, as was shown on FOX 26 Sports, Fox discusses representing the entire Houston area in the McDonald's All-American Game.
