HOUSTON (FOX 26) - The NBA has suspended Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard for one game without pay for "striking the arm of a game official" during the team's game on Saturday against the Washington Wizards. That suspension will be served on Tuesday night as the Rockets face the Miami Heat at Toyota Center. Rockets head coach J.B. Bickerstaff was fined $10,000 by the NBA for comments he made about officials on Saturday night after the game.
"We gotta figure it out," said Rockets guard James Harden after the team practice session on Tuesday. "Clint (Capela) has to be ready. I think he's dealing with a leg injury, so we gotta figure it out., something we've been trying to do all year."
NBA sources confirmed to FOX 26 sports director Mark Berman that the first technical foul called against Howard on Saturday night has been rescinded.
